Below is an overview of the services The Guest House provides. At The Guest House, we have been serving our community since 1998 and aim to provide the same convenient, quality service that has made us a leader in the hospitality industry.
The Guesthouse is a lovely place to relax and unwind from the busy city life. Located in Standerton where the Vaal River, one of South Africa’s largest rivers, flows through and provides much in the way of water-based activities.
We offer en-suite rooms and a family flat with two rooms. All rooms are fully furnished and includes DSTV. We have a fully licenced bar with DStV to keep guests entertained. Other in house offers: braai area, garden & laundry.
Many of the guest farms close by provide horse riding, and many other enjoyable destinations that bring you close to nature.
The Grootdraai Dam, the tenth largest dam in South Africa, is 10 km outside of Standerton and is one of its major attractions, bringing visitors wishing to see the dam and enjoy the activities. Standerton also has a variety of sports facilities to keep sport lovers occupied. There are many clubs available to join or even just visit when you are on holiday. These include the 9-hole Standerton Golf Club and there is also a Bass-Fishing Club to keep the anglers happy, a boat club and a Model Aeroplane Club for model plane enthusiasts.
We also offer contractors accommodation. For contractors working at nearby companies & businesses (Tutuka powerstation, Majuba power station, Sasol, New Denmark collieries, Standerton Oil Mills (Noble Recourses) also close to central Business district(CBD).
